Hot Oil for Cold Days: Dry Scalp + Hair Treatment

Oh I so love this kind of treatment from my hair. This is an amazing one.

Oil Spill

Cold day is sucking the moisture from my scalp, leaving it itchy and leaving me impatient!

I’m concocted a pre-wash scalp treatment that uses heat to deeply penetrate my scalp and also my hair shaft. Double the recipe and save the remainder for the following weeks.

1 tbsp Castor oil

  • Castor oil is known for it’s cleansing properties and it’s abilities to help growth in stressed areas of the hair, such as edges or balding spots

1 tbsp Neem oil

  • Neem cleanses and purifies the scalp, while it conditions dry scalp and hair

1 tbsp Grapeseed oil

  • Promotes hair growth, great carrier oil for essential oils, and thins the oil treatment for easier application

1 tbsp Honey

  • A natural humectant, which means it can draw moisture from the atmosphere to your hair. Also, honey is anti-bacterial

1/2 teas Cinnamon

  • Cinnamon helps in circulation of  the scalp

2 drops of Tea Tree oil
